A new study involving 4,577 men who had been diagnosed with non-metastatic prostate cancer (PCa) has found that a simple change in diet may help improve their survival rates.

The study looked at men diagnosed from 1986 to 2010. Men had a markedly lower risk of developing lethal PCa cancer and dying from other causes if they substituted healthy vegetable fats for animal fats and carbohydrates.
