A study by researchers at the University of Vermont shows that with appropriate screening and selection, kidney transplantation can be performed successfully in octogenarians.
John Schieszer reports in today’s Medical Minute that these findings may be important as more and more adults in their 80s are ending up on kidney transplant waiting lists.
