Researchers in Chicago say they have identified genetic variants that can increase PSA concentrations and prostate cancer risk.
John Schieszer reports in today’s Medical Minute that adjusting for four PSA single nucleotide polymorphisms could potentially prevent up to 20% of prostate biopsies.
