A new study suggests that male carriers of the BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene mutation are at greater risk of having advanced prostate cancer at the time of diagnosis, as well as of developing metastasis.
John Schieszer reports in today’s Medical Minute that these genes are known to be associated with familial breast and ovarian cancer syndrome.
