The 2012 campaign for President of the United States is well under way. Republican presidential hopefuls are traveling the country giving speeches and interviews in an attempt to win their party’s nomination to run against President Obama in 2012. The sluggish American economy is a central issue in the campaign, but a number of other important issues have surfaced, including the spiraling cost of health care and ways to bring this under control.
