Cell phones are an integral—and some would say indispensable—part of modern life. Millions of people are addicted to the convenience of these devices.

They allow immediate access to the Internet at any time so that people can check e-mail, access web sites, search the web, find their way about using the GPS, and, of course, call or text the office and family and friends. It might be unthinkable to many individuals, including doctors, to turn these devices off, even for a moment.
