More and more doctors are entering concierge or boutique medicine, either as individuals or by joining a network.
With this type of medicine, patients typically pay a hefty annual fee in return for getting more of a doctor’s time and services, as well as special attention from the doctor and his team.
In such arrangements, doctors can lessen their reliance on Medicare or other third-party payers and can deliver better-quality care while reducing overwhelming caseloads.
