The overall incidences of kidney, bladder, pelvis, and ureter cancers in Denmark increased in both sexes from 1944 to 2003, Danish investigators reported in Urology (2009; published online ahead of print).

During the 60-year period, the incidence of kidney tumors increased by 78% among men and 32% among women.

The incidence of bladder tumors increased by 325% and 195%, respectively, and the incidences of pelvis and ureter tumors rose by 1,070% and 2,785%.
