Suskind, MD,of the University of California SanFrancisco, found that the number ofphysicians who performed neuromodulationtest procedures increased4-fold from 2005 to 2010, accordingto an online report in Urology. Theaverage rates of procedures increasedsignificantly from 4.0 to 6.4procedures per physician per year,but the rates of device implantationremained stable.
