In the spirit of March Madness, the editors of the American Journal of Kidney Disease have put together a basketball-themed contest in recognition of National Kidney Month. NephMadness focuses on 64 unique aspects of clinical practice in nephrology.
“The primary goal of NephMadness is to offer educational content in a unique way that covers a diverse array of nephrology topics,” the editors stated in a press release. “From clinical care, to national initiatives, to basic science discoveries, no stone is left unturned.”
Examples of included topics are systolic blood pressure, bariatric surgery, and acute kidney injury biomarkers.

Those who wish to enter are encouraged to visit eAJKD, the official blog of the journal, where they will be able to submit their choices, share them with friends, and learn more about guidelines and prizes.
The contest is not limited to physicians specializing in nephrology. The deadline for entering the contest is noon of March 26 EDT.
