”Now, patients have two options,” said Shawn Heffern, Cialis U.S. director of brand marketing at Eli Lilly and Company, which makes the drug. Cialis for once-daily use improved erectile function over the course of therapy in clinical trials.
The initial approval of the drug in 2003 transformed the American ED market as it was the first and only phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitor clinically proven to provide sustained efficacy as long as 36 hours. Lilly’s wholesale pricing for once-daily Cialis will be comparable to the as-needed formulation.
