Former Florida governor Jeb Bush will be among the keynote speakers at 11th annual meeting of the Large Urology Group Practice Association (LUGPA) being held in Chicago from November 7-9 at The Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park hotel. He and 2 other keynote speakers—entrepreneur and leadership expert Quint Studer and former star quarterback Joe Theismann—will focus on this year’s theme, Power of Partnership: Achieving Excellence in Urology.
The objective of these talks is to deliver “innovative education and actionable takeaways on essential topics for independent urology clinics,” according to the LUGPA website (lugpa.org/annual/).
Bush served as Florida’s governor from 1999 through 2007. “During his two terms, Governor Bush championed major reform of government, in areas ranging from health care and environmental protection to civil service and tax reform. His top priority was the overhaul of the state’s failing education system,” according to program information provided on the website.
