Asthma/COPD:
Indications for: Terbutaline Sulfate
Asthma. Chronic bronchitis. Emphysema.
Adult Dosage:
12–15yrs: 2.5mg 3 times daily at 6 hour intervals. >15yrs: 2.5–5mg 3 times daily at 6 hour intervals.
Children Dosage:
Not recommended.
Terbutaline Sulfate Warnings/Precautions:
Not for management of preterm labor. Avoid excessive use. Diabetes. Cardiac disease. Hypertension. Hyperthyroidism. Seizure disorders. If subject to hypokalemia, monitor potassium. Pregnancy (Cat.B). Nursing mothers.

Avoid other sympathomimetics (except aerosol bronchodilators), MAOIs, tricyclics. Antagonized by β-blockers.
Adverse Reactions:
