Symptomatic relief of non-infectious diarrhea in adult patients with HIV/AIDS on antiretroviral therapy.
Adult Dosage:
Swallow whole. One tab twice daily.
Children Dosage:
<18yrs: not established.
MYTESI Warnings/Precautions:
Rule out infectious etiologies of diarrhea before starting. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers: not recommended.
MYTESI Classification:
Antidiarrheal.
Adverse Reactions:
Upper respiratory tract infection, bronchitis, cough, flatulence, increased bilirubin.
