Fungal infections:

Indications for: Griseofulvin Oral Suspension

Ringworm infections of the skin, hair, and nails.

Adult Dosage:

500mg daily; max 1g daily.

Children Dosage:

30–50lbs: 125–250mg daily. Over 50lbs: 250–500mg daily.

Griseofulvin Oral Suspension Contraindications:

Porphyria. Hepatocellular failure. Pregnancy.

Griseofulvin Oral Suspension Warnings/Precautions:

Continue therapy until infection is eradicated. Periodic monitoring of renal, hepatic, and hematopoietic functions. Discontinue if granulocytopenia occurs. Penicillin sensitivity. Avoid exposure to sunlight or UV light. Nursing mothers.
