Indications for: Docusate Sodium Liquid
Stool softener.
Adult Dosage:
Mix liq in 6–8oz of milk or juice. 50mg–150mg once or twice daily.
Children Dosage:
Mix liq in 6–8oz of milk, juice or formula. <2yrs: individualize. 2–11yrs: 50mg–150mg once daily.
Docusate Sodium Liquid Warnings/Precautions:
Discontinue if rectal bleeding or no bowel movement occurs. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
