Cough and cold:
Indications for: CORICIDIN HBP MAXIMUM STRENGTH FLU
Cough, pain, headache, fever, rhinorrhea.
Adult Dosage:
2 tabs every 6 hours; max 8 tabs/day.
Children Dosage:
Individualize.
CORICIDIN HBP MAXIMUM STRENGTH FLU Contraindications:
Within 14 days of MAOIs. Concomitant other acetaminophen products.
CORICIDIN HBP MAXIMUM STRENGTH FLU Warnings/Precautions:
Liver disease. Glaucoma. GI or GU obstruction. Asthma. Lower respiratory disorders.
CORICIDIN HBP MAXIMUM STRENGTH FLU Classification:
Analgesic + antihistamine + antitussive.
CORICIDIN HBP MAXIMUM STRENGTH FLU Interactions:
See Contraindications. Increased risk of liver damage with ≥3 alcoholic drinks/day. Hypertensive crisis with MAOIs. Other CNS depressants potentiated.
Adverse Reactions:
Drowsiness, anticholinergic effects, excitability in children.
