Allergies:
Indications for: CHLORPHEN-12
Hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies.
Adult Dosage:
1 tab every 12hrs; max 2 tabs/24hrs.
Children Dosage:
<12yrs: consult physician.
CHLORPHEN-12 Warnings/Precautions:
Respiratory disorders (eg, emphysema, chronic bronchitis). Glaucoma. GI or GU obstruction. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.
CHLORPHEN-12 Classification:
Antihistamine.
CHLORPHEN-12 Interactions:
Potentiates CNS depression with alcohol (avoid), other CNS depressants (eg, sedatives, tranquilizers).
Adverse Reactions:
Anticholinergic effects, drowsiness, excitability (esp. in children).
