Infertility:
Indications for: CETROTIDE
Inhibition of premature LH surges in women undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation for in vitro fertilization.
Adult Dosage:
Give by SC inj into lower abdominal wall during early to mid-follicular phase; see full labeling. 0.25mg daily beginning on stimulation day 5 (morning or evening) or day 6 (morning) and continue until day of hCG administration.
Children Dosage:
Not applicable.
CETROTIDE Contraindications:
Pregnancy (Cat.X). Nursing mothers.
CETROTIDE Warnings/Precautions:
Do complete gynecological and endocrinological exam first.
CETROTIDE Classification:
GnRH antagonist.
Adverse Reactions:
Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, nausea, headache, inj site reactions, elevated enzymes (eg, ALT, alkaline phosphatase).
