Ocular allergy/inflammation:
Indications for: Azelastine Ophthalmic Solution
Treatment of ocular itching associated with allergic conjunctivitis.
Adults and Children:
<3yrs: not recommended. ≥3yrs: 1 drop in affected eye(s) twice daily.
Azelastine Ophthalmic Solution Warnings/Precautions:
Contact lenses (remove; may reinsert 10 minutes after administration, if eye is not red). Pregnancy (Cat.C). Nursing mothers.
Azelastine Ophthalmic Solution Classification:
Antihistamine.
Adverse Reactions:
Ocular burning/stinging, headache, bitter taste, asthma, conjunctivitis, dyspnea, eye pain, fatigue, flu symptoms, transient blurred vision.
