Asthma/COPD:

Indications for: ATROVENT HFA

Bronchospasm associated with chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

Adult Dosage:

2 inh 4 times daily; max 12 inh/day.

Children Dosage:

Not established.

ATROVENT HFA Contraindications:

Allergy to atropine or its derivatives.

ATROVENT HFA Warnings/Precautions:

Not for primary treatment of acute attack. Avoid eyes. Narrow-angle glaucoma. GU obstruction. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers.

ATROVENT HFA Classification:

Anticholinergic.

ATROVENT HFA Interactions:

Caution with other anticholinergics.

Adverse Reactions:

Bronchitis, COPD exacerbation, dyspnea, headache, anticholinergic effects; paradoxical bronchospasm, hypersensitivity reactions.
