Cleveland Clinic Urologist To Receive $2 Million Gift for Research

J. Stephen Jones, MD, a urologist at Cleveland Clinic's Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute and a member of the Renal & Urology News editorial advisory board, is the recipient of a combined $2 million gift that will support prostate and bladder cancer research.

Dr. Jones will serve on an endowed chair for urologic oncology research that will allow him to improve on diagnostic capabilities and the management of related malignancies.

Named after the two Cleveland contributors, the Leonard Horvitz and Samuel H. Miller Distinguished Chair in Urological Oncology Research will be renamed after Dr. Jones upon his retirement.

Dr. Jones joined the Cleveland Clinic in 2000 and is a member of its Board of Governors.
