The routine use of PSA testing for screening and monitoring prostate cancer has led to earlier and more sensitive detection of the disease. A new study also shows that PSA testing has significantly improved prostate cancer outcomes in African-American men. John Schieszer reports in today's Medical Minute that PSA testing appears to have dramatically improved survival rates among African American men.
