Partial Nephrectomy Preferred for Some Patients


A new study by researchers at the University of Michigan suggests that partial nephrectomy should be the preferred treatment for patients who are candidates for it. John Schieszer reports in today's Medical Minute that in this patient population, partial nephrectomy may be associated with improved outcomes compared with radical nephrectomy.
