New Tool Predicts Prostate Cancer Overdiagnosis


Current studies suggest that prostate cancer is overdiagnosed in up to 42% of cases, prompting men to receive unnecessary treatment.

Now, researchers at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle have developed a personalized tool that can predict the likelihood of prostate cancer overdiagnosis.
