Healthy Lifestyle Could Prolong Survival in CKD Patients


Among individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD), adherence to a healthful lifestyle appears to be associated with a greater likelihood of survival, according to a new study that looked at 2,288 CKD patients. The greatest survival benefits appear to be related to nonsmoking. John Schieszer has the story in today's Medical Minute.
