Advertised Laser Fiber Diameters Misleading

A new investigation has found that the total and core diameters of laser fibers correspond to the advertised laser fiber diameters for lasers used for urological surgery.

The investigation may warrant attention from the urological community because larger-than-advertised laser fibers may influence irrigation flow, visibility, scope deflection and stone retropulsion.
