USING A SINGLE drug to block the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) may be just as effective as using two drugs at decreasing albuminuria in hypertensive patients with microalbuminuria and elevated cardiovascular risks, data suggest. Dual RAAS blockade achieves greater BP reductions, however.
