Artificially Sweetened Drinks May Hike Diabetes Risk
SAN FRANCISCO—Heavy consumption of artificially sweetened beverages was associated with almost twice the risk of diabetes in a long-term, community-based prospective study, researchers reported here at the American Diabetes Association annual meeting.
